Hawaii is literally a cornucopia of fascinating foods.

 

In addition to an amazing array of exotic tropical fruits and pristine fresh seafood, Hawaii also produces coffee, tea, chocolate, vanilla, sea salt, black pepper, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, macadamia nuts, goat cheese, hearts of palm and edible bamboo! 

Chef Martha and her family have two farms on the Big Island, one in South Kona and one in Volcano. Many of the delicious foods and beverages Martha serves are not just locally sourced but actually harvested from her own farms. Martha and her family stay busy creating pastries, chutneys, marmalade and tea from their own farm bounty.
